The Pioneer
Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA) is a
private, non-profit 501 (c) 3 cultural
organization. It operates under a long-term
contract with the Reno-Sparks Convention and
Visitors Authority (RSCVA) to manage the Pioneer
Center for the Performing Arts. Located in
downtown Reno, this 1,500-seat venue is the
largest public performing arts facility in
northern Nevada.
Our mission is to
facilitate and present the highest quality
performing arts programming in northern Nevada.
PCPA is committed to the belief that the arts
are an essential part of our community’s quality
of life and well being.

support through our “Buy-A-Seat Program” you
will be making a commitment to preserving a high
quality performing arts experience in Reno. The
Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, a Nevada
State and National Historic building, is the
center piece for the performing arts in downtown
Reno and northern Nevada’s largest performance
facility.

Programs Sponsor
Pioneer
Center Youth Programs presents live performing
arts programs in elementary schools and public
library branches throughout northern Nevada.
Programs are available to all public, private,
charter, and Montessori elementary schools
within a 100-mile radius of Reno. These
culturally–rich programs emphasize artistic
quality, educational value, and audience
participation.
For just $200, you can give a school the gift of
art. Thanks to
the generous contributions of our donors and
sponsors, our programs are available at an
extremely affordable price. The cost for each
program is just $200 for schools within
the immediate Reno-Sparks area and $250
for schools in outlying communities. All
donations are tax-deductible. Help support the
cultural education of northern Nevada’s
children!
