POLICIES

Admission
The Pioneer Center Box Office opens 2 hours prior to show times for will call tickets and sales. All persons, regardless of age, must have a ticket to gain admission to an event.  The doors to the lobbies open 1 hour prior to show times. The doors to the auditorium will open approximately one half hour prior to show times. If you need to exit the building, please retain your ticket for re-entry.

Babies and Children
Every person who enters the theater, regardless of age, must have a ticket.  It is not recommended to bring infants/children 3 years of age or under to the theater. Presenting organizations may ask that no children be admitted due to adult program content. The Pioneer Center Box Office will carry information regarding the suitability of a program.  Some presenters may offer a discounted ticket for students and children.  Lap seats are not permitted - no babes in arms.

Bad Weather
As we say in the business "The show must go on!"  If you cannot attend a performance due to weather, we will not be able to exchange or refund your ticket. Please refer to our Terms of Use.  However, if a show is cancelled or postponed refunds (less service fees) and/or exchanges will be issued. The cancellation of performances, and refunds or exchanges due to bad weather, is decided upon by the presenting organization. The Pioneer Center will post cancellation notifications on our website and contact ticket holders by phone and email. The Pioneer Center will also provide recorded updates on its administrative office number, (775) 686-6610.

Cameras and Recording Devices
Taking photos (with or without flash) and videos, or recording an event in any manner is prohibited. The taking of flash photographs may be dangerous for the performers. Recorders, cameras and cell phones with built-in cameras and other recording devices may be confiscated.

Cell Phones
Please silence all cell phones and message/alarm systems before entering the theater. Please note that the opening and closing of cell phones and sending messages may disturb patrons and performers.

Late Seating
Late seating policies are determined by the presenting organizations. Late-arriving patrons may encounter closed-door or open-door holds. During a closed-door hold, patrons are invited to listen and watch the performance on monitors located in the lobbies. During open-door holds patrons my view the performance from the inside the auditorium at the back of the seats.  Ushers will then help latecomers to their seats during appropriate pauses in the performance.

Smoking and Other Considerations
The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts is a smoke free building. Also, please be aware that many people are allergic and sensitive to perfume and cologne.

Ticketing Policies
All ticket sales are final.  No refunds or exchanges*. Refunds (less service fees) will only be offered upon cancellation of a performance. If you have questions, please contact the Pioneer Center Box Office at (775) 686-6600 or email boxoffice@pioneercenter.com.
